
Booking policy

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a workshop that you have paid for. I can offer a refund or a change of date/class with 14 days or more notice. If you are cancelling with less than 14 days before the class, I'm afraid I cannot offer a refund, unless I can fill the place.
If I have to cancel or postpone a workshop, I will offer you the choice to book onto a new date, or receive a refund.
How to book a workshop place.
Use the 'Book Now' buttons to send an email. Please give details of the date of the class you are interested in, and the number of places required. I will email you back, with a secure link, to pay online.

A new venue for I Felt Fantastic, and I'm really excited to be offering this beginners class at The Potter's Wheel. Come along to this fun, friendly and informative class to make the sweetest mini barn owl. You'll fall in love with them, I promise!
This class is perfectly suited to needle felting beginners (over 16 only) and all tools and materials are provided.


Needle felted landscape

I'm so looking forward to this wonderful 2D felting class at The Potter's Wheel! Come along to this fun and artistic workshop, to create your own mini wool masterpiece. If you have a photo you'd like to work from, please bring it along. We'll be working with a variety of fibres and techniques, to add texture and colour to your scene.
This class is perfectly suited to needle felting beginners (over 16 only) and all tools and materials are provided.

Sunshine Mole
On Saturday 10th May, 2 - 4pm in Cirencester,
or Wednesday 21st May, 6-7:30pm in Swindon
£24 per person
Make a cute mole, in this beginner friendly needle felting class. You'll get a kit with felting tools and materials, including a choice of colour for your mole's flower 'parasol', sunglasses and a small wooden base.
Suitable for anyone aged 10+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Felting @ Hobbycraft
- Needle felted Sandpiper
On Saturday 7th June, 2 - 4pm in Cirencester,
or Wednesday 18th June, 6-7:30pm in Swindon

Come along to Hobbycraft and celebrate beach walks, sand dunes and seashore wildlife! Create your own summer wading bird - the sandpiper; using the needle felting technique and genuine Cotswold wool tweed fabric. You'll also receive a wooden base and shells to display your finished bird.
Suitable for beginners and ages 10+. All tools and materials provided.

Needle felted Highland Cow
at the Gloucestershire Summer School
On Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th July, 9:30am to 4:30pm both days. £114 pp, plus £9 materials charge.
Create your own McCoo, in this fun and beginner friendly needle felting class. You’ll have two days of creativity with a variety of wool fibres, plus learn how to add wire to a project, mould with silk clay, and use merino wool for long hair. On the first day, you will make an armature, and build up the core structure of your cow. You’ll also make those iconic long horns! Day two will be spent adding colour, detail and of course a long, shaggy coat.
Cost for materials (payable on the first day) will be £9 per person; which includes felting mat and cloth cover, graded needles in a safety tube, wire, pipe cleaners, core wool, carded wool, merino tops, silk clay, photos and templates, all in a take home bag. If you have your own felting tools and materials, feel free to bring them along, to supplement your class kit.
This class is suitable for beginners and those who have already have some experience.

Needle felted kingfisher
at Oxford Summer School

On Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th August, 10am to 4pm both days. £130 pp, plus £15 materials charge.
Use wool to create a life sized, 3D sculpture of a watchful kingfisher. He looks ready to dive into the water, for his catch of the day! Turn a pile of soft, fluffy sheep’s wool into a firm, felted object; by using a special barbed needle to tangle and bond the fibres.
On day one you will make an armature, build a wool core, and make the wings and tail. On the second day you will add colour, and finish with fine details.
This course covers various felting techniques; using templates, working with wire, adding silk clay to your work, blending colours, and getting a smooth finish. There will be lots of information and advice on wool types and different felting tools.
This class is suitable for beginners and those who have already have some experience. If you have your own needle felting tools, feel free to bring them; but not essential!

Needle felted flamingo
On Saturday 16th August, 9:30 am - 5.00pm
at The William Morris Memorial Hall,
Kelmscott, GL7 3HG
£75 per person
Learn several great needle felting techniques in this one day, beginner friendly workshop. Sarah will guide you through the process of building your core structure, adding wire, making webbed feet, using merino wool for feathers, and mounting your finished work. You will receive a wooden base for your flamingo to stand on. All tools and materials provided
Please bring a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and soft drinks available all day. Cake in the afternoon too, (please advise of any special dietary requirements).
Lots of free parking in the field adjacent to the village hall.
